The hubs recently surprised me with a road trip where I didn’t have a clue where we were going from day to day. We also have in our family sort of a contest to see who can get to all fifty states first. Imagine my surprise when we went here to see where “Build It and They Will Come”! Plus, Iowa is now one of the three new states we got on this trip. This was a very fun and memorable trip!

Do you dream of going somewhere big? Do you remember the joy of going somewhere new that you have dreamed about? While there are many places I would like to go and dream of going; I often find that time constraints, money, weather, or other obligations keep me from going everywhere on my list.
However; I find just getting in the car and exploring within a tanks drive from my home, takes me to places, people, sights, and yes —smells that are new to me. I love exploring and knowing what is to be found down a certain road, regardless of the season. Maybe I will find a covered bridge, or a new hiking trail, or at least one new to me. Maybe I will find Amish fried pies filled with all different kinds of delicious fillings and have fun talking with the people who made them. The excitement can be felt in the crisp, cool air as the leaves start to turn red and gold. Who knows where I will end, as I just decide to go! What have you found on some of your explorations?
