Living Life

New Beginnings

Journal Entry: Jan 02, 2021 ~ Today is the beginning of another year and the end of one that I am not sad to see go. While it could have been much worse, it has been worse for so many which makes me sad. It is not just one part of our world, but the whole world that has experienced so much unhappiness due to Covid-19. But we have started a new year with promises of a better year as immunizations have started.

While many lives have been impacted, it has also resulted in many coming to better realize what is truly important in life. Many families have developed deeper relationships due to having to slow down the non-ending rush of activities to spending more time together. The holidays have had their challenges also. While being in an older at risk group, while I appreciate the increased protection from exposure; in some ways, I also feel like I’ve been put on a shelf to pick up living at a later time.

This year, I am looking forward to never taking for granted again being able to hug my love ones, visit and share meals with family and friends, and be able to travel whenever I want … and hopefully without a mask. I am grateful even though I feel guilty as if complaining. I am looking forward to this new year of healing, love, fun times, travel, and sharing love. I am planning on living the life I imagined and hopefully you will too. ~

Thank you for visiting. ~ terre

Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi

A Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi

Lord make me an instrument of Your peace.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love.

Where there is injury, pardon,

Where there is doubt, faith,

Where there is despair, hope,

Where there is darkness, light,

and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much

seek to be consoled, as to console,

To be understood, as to understand,

To be loved, as to love,

For it is in giving that we receive and

it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,

And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

If this prayer speaks to you, please feel free to share. Thank you for visiting today.  ~ terre

Challenges & Positivity

Staying positive

No matter where you are or what you are having to do at this difficult time, staying positive can be oh so hard when our world has been turned upside down. But you can do it. Just finding one positive or lovely thought a day can help you get through and make such a huge difference in being able to do what needs to be done. Thinking of you all… we will make it through this and hopefully when it is all done, we will be a kinder, peaceful and more loving world. Blessings for strength and courage wherever you are. ~terre

Making Happy

Terre's Blog - Women of All Seasons(3)

The happiest people don’t have the best of everything,

they just make the best of everything.
