Hello Everyone ~
In all the time that I have had this blog, I have never done a product recommendation. No, this is not a course that is for my own profit, but one that I have been taking as a student since the beginning of the year. While I do use some stock photos, I try to use many images that are my own as I work to grow my photography. Some of the images that you have recently seen, came from my studies. I have found this course very useful in helping me with my photography skills while also being very affordable. I thought it is something that many of you who follow, especially those interested in Photography, might like to check into. I also recently wrote a review for the course to be shared on their site that I am sharing below. Enjoy. ~ terre
I thought I knew a fair amount about photography, that is until I took my camera off auto shoot mode. Then I found out very quickly that I had no clue what most of the settings on my camera were really for. It was not until I started taking 365 Days of Photography that I really started to learn how to really use my camera. It does not seem to matter what model of camera each student has, we are all learning about our own camera and equipment. This is evident by the great improving images that the class community chooses to share in the course newsfeed.
I had never really considered an on-line photography course before, but instead had opted over the years to try to learn on my own. Even though I read and re-read, especially about aperture and f-stops, I just could never really grasp these concepts. Therefore, I could not apply them in a consistent or practical way in my photos. After finding myself with more time available this past year, I decided to gift myself with this on-line course. I have been trying for years to achieve more professional looking shots. Yes, I have taken some great shots, but to master the technical aspects so that I could repeat it again, was not in my comfort zone.
Even though I have only been taking this class for a few months, I have already learned so much! The instructor, Kevin has spent his lifetime as a career photographer. He is highly informative, patient, and helpful as he imparts his knowledge in a self-paced class format that is easy to understand, including the harder concepts, and through daily lessons. The course integrates previously learned concepts into the new materials to increase your knowledge as you advance through the lessons. You receive individual feedback as needed to help you grow your skills.
There is so much more I can now do with my camera and lenses than I thought possible. I am now the one in control of what my camera does. It is so much more than just an expensive point and shoot. I have rejuvenated my love for photography! I do not usually write reviews, but this course is a real bargain that I highly recommend. Thank you, Kevin, for a great course! Thank you for visiting and I hope you are having a good weekend. ~ terre
