One of the things I miss most about todays world is the ability to freely travel. There is no better way to connect with other people than to share time, food, and learn about their world. It is so meaningful to share hospitality and just being in the moment with another within their own culture. I believe it is true that our world shrinks and can become more caring as we learn about each other’s culture and people. While on one of my many walks, I just happened to come across these beautiful doors while exploring about Rome. To say there is so much to find in Rome is an huge understatement! This is truly where I learned and understood the phrase ‘Rome was not built in a day’. Besides all the beautiful art, architecture, and friendly people… they have great music, wine, coffee, and make a great margarita to just sit and sip in one of their lovely piazzas. Yes, I enjoyed everything about Rome, including actually walking on the very same road as some of the greatest Roman rulers, and so much more. Oh, someday to go again. ~

Sometimes remarks from other people are so perfect, it is just hard to improve to make them better. When I think of the things that can’t be counted, but that really matter, the first that comes to mind are bee’s and trees. How would our world be so different without them? What would be gone without pollinators? Strawberry jam for one. Maybe everything… I don’t want to find out. What other things can you think of that really count, that really matter to you, but cannot be counted?
