Angels

Angel

Angels have been mentioned throughout history and depicted in art, sculptures, stained glass and many other creative expressions across the millenniums. Regardless of your personal beliefs, they can be found in many cultures and religions. They are most seen as messengers or protectors sent to help you even when you cannot see them. They have been a favorite image to capture from the very beginning of my photography days. Since I can’t take a picture of a real angel, I capture them where ever I find them. I haven’t really shared them much with others until now. I hope you enjoy my collection of angels that I post. Here is the first one. I would love to hear from you if you love angels too. Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi

A Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi

Lord make me an instrument of Your peace.

Where there is hatred, let me sow love.

Where there is injury, pardon,

Where there is doubt, faith,

Where there is despair, hope,

Where there is darkness, light,

and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much

seek to be consoled, as to console,

To be understood, as to understand,

To be loved, as to love,

For it is in giving that we receive and

it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,

And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.

If this prayer speaks to you, please feel free to share. Thank you for visiting today.  ~ terre

Time waits for no one,

clouds billow against the sky.

Poem ~ The Right Words

~ Finding the Right Words ~

Uplifting and bright, today starts early

a new slate waits for the story.

Mine today, these hours to come no more.

Time to start but not to hurry.

Some eyes stare at the glass half empty,

though it is half full sparkling and bright

a new day simply to bleed, sweat, and write,

a long day creeping into the deep of night.

Pages written or not is the writer’s plight.

Either way fret not, or have a glass of wine,

tomorrow is a new day bringing yet another night.
