This saying or a close form of it is found in many faith traditions from Confucius, Judaism, Christianity, and probably many others. Whatever your personal beliefs, this is something we can all do our bit to work towards … especially being respectful and kind to one another. Why is something so simply and beautifully stated, so hard to do?
Hope your Sunday is a peaceful and start to a good week. No matter what is going on with you or in your community, we’re all in this together. It is our world and it is what we make it.

This is not only Sunday, but Palm Sunday! Palm Sunday marks the joyful entry of the Lord into Jerusalem. … so they took branches of palm trees and went out to meet him, crying out ‘Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! ~Luke 19:38.
Reflecting on the timeline of Holy Week it makes me ponder of how fast things changed in less than a week. The people went from being joyful, loving Him and honoring Him to scorning Him. Palm Sunday is the lead into Easter when He rose again, redeeming us, and showing the world the ultimate act of love for us. We may not be able to celebrate Easter how we usually do, but Easter is still coming to be celebrated!
Probably like many of us, I’ve turned to my Bible and prayer even more these days. I came across this verse in my readings and thought that maybe it would speak to you too. Today is sunny at times, blustery winds, and just a good day to reflect. If you can maybe you will get out and take a walk, enjoy some fresh air and nature. Hope your Sunday is one of calm and peace.
