~ In His Beauty ~
What am I to the Lord –
He that has provided for
every wildflower of the earth?
I am like that wildflower
that springs from the rocky cliff.
He sends nourishment for it
to open and lift its face towards him.
It grows and flourishes till it has spread
over the face of the barren cliff.
He sends the rains so it can live.
If he did that for a wildflower–,
What did he do for me?
He gives me his word, so I can believe.
He lets me feel his spirit
and I know that he loves me.
He will guide me and let me find truth—
for in that truth—He died for me.
As he loves the smallest wildflower
that seems to grow from neglect—
The Lord also loves me.

Angels have been mentioned throughout history and depicted in art, sculptures, stained glass and many other creative expressions across the millenniums. Regardless of your personal beliefs, they can be found in many cultures and religions. They are most seen as messengers or protectors sent to help you even when you cannot see them. They have been a favorite image to capture from the very beginning of my photography days. Since I can’t take a picture of a real angel, I capture them where ever I find them. I haven’t really shared them much with others until now. I hope you enjoy my collection of angels that I post. Here is the first one. I would love to hear from you if you love angels too. A Prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi
Lord make me an instrument of Your peace.
Where there is hatred, let me sow love.
Where there is injury, pardon,
Where there is doubt, faith,
Where there is despair, hope,
Where there is darkness, light,
and where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much
seek to be consoled, as to console,
To be understood, as to understand,
To be loved, as to love,
For it is in giving that we receive and
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
If this prayer speaks to you, please feel free to share. Thank you for visiting today. ~ terre
