Poetry: First Snowfall

Terre's Blog - Women of All Seasons (1)

First Snowfall

When evening falls
casting shadows
across blankets of downy snow.

The cottontail rabbit
hops ever so softly
from the brush.

Sounds soften all around.
The world is all a hush.
When evening falls
casting shadows
across the snowy ground.
