Freedom’s Price
In the beginning of our nation’s birth,
Freedom to live in harmony
according to one’s beliefs
and in happiness’ pursuit
guaranteed at birth.
So, so many paid the ultimate price.
Sleep in peace, our comrades, Sleep.
Let us not take for granted
our freedoms hard won at home
and for others on foreign shores;
their sacrifices made,
lives unselfishly given.
Oh sleep our hero’s,
Sleep in peace.
